To register for courses offered by the Faculty of Science & Engineering (your department’s courses), you are required to apply via the “Course Registration Form” below by the deadline.
Before submitting the Form, read the “Course Registration Guide” above.
You can select courses(Lecture/Seminar) from the following department list you belong to and discuss with your supervisor what course you should take and receive their approval.

Exchange students are allowed to take the courses which they have been given permission to take.
The courses must be chosen from those only offered by the Department you are to enroll. We cannot always offer courses taught in English. In some Departments, only courses taught in Japanese are offered. Before course registration, you are required to talk with and obtain consent of your academic supervisor on what courses you are going to register.
We cannot offer course lists for exchange student before you apply. If you need to know what course you can register from your department, please ask your prospective supervisor at your end.

Please drop by our office during office hours on the 1st floor of Building #51 on Nishi-Waseda Campus.
After you start your course, you may choose participation in a summer school or study abroad. In order to defer your studies halfway through, you are required to apply for intermission during the allotted time period. After returning from study leave, you may take the course by applying for resumption during the allotted time period. This is applicable for semester and full-year courses.

“Extra Course Registration” refers to the system that enables students to newly take courses offered in the summer or the winter quarter or intensive courses during the spring or summer vacation, when they return to Japan from studying abroad.
*This “Extra Course Registration” applies to students who are on Exchange Program, Double Degree Program, or CS(Customized Study) Program, or privately financed students who study abroad with their private fund.
