トルコ・シリア大地震により被災された皆様へ

トルコ共和国とシリア・アラブ共和国において2月6日に発生した大地震により、犠牲となられた方々に深く哀悼の意を表するとともに、被災されたすべての方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

また現地にて緊急支援や救助活動をされている多くの方々に敬意を表します。

本学はトルコ・シリアの教育機関と協定を結び学生交流や学術・研究交流を行っております。また、現在、本学にはトルコ・シリア両国からの留学生も在籍しており、引き続き支援に努めて参ります。

被災されたすべての皆様が一日も早く元の生活を取り戻し、復興されることをお祈り申し上げます。

A message of sympathy to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to those who have been affected by the devastating earthquake which occurred in Turkey and Syria on February 6. My heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones because of this tragedy.

I would also like to express my sincere respect for the many individuals who are providing emergency support and rescue efforts on the ground.

Waseda University engages in student, academic and research exchanges with our partner educational institutions in Turkey and Syria. Currently, we have international students from both Turkey and Syria, and we will make every effort to provide the support needed.

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible return to normalcy for those affected by the disaster, and for the recovery and restoration of the affected regions.
