海外留学について、重要なお知らせを2020年3月17日（火）に海外留学中の対象学生に向けてお知らせいたしました。
必ずご確認いただくようお願いいたします。

1. 留学の取り扱い
◇SP1の学生
2020年度春学期に復学した場合は「半年の留学でも卒業要件の1年間留学とみなす」という措置はすべての国・地域が対象になります。
◇SP2の学生
留学プログラムを中断して、2020年春学期に早稲田大学に復学することが可能です。半年の留学は半年扱いとなります。
2.留学先で取得した単位・単位認定について
2020年春学期から早稲田大学に復学した場合は、原則として３月中までに留学先で成績が確定するものを認定の対象とします。
学期の途中での帰国がやむを得ない場合、個別に相談に応じることになります。また、学校の閉鎖などで成績証明書原本の取得が難しい
場合は当面PDF等を代用していただくことや、事後に提出していただくことでもかまいません。
注：2020年春学期に早稲田大学に復学した状態で、留学先の授業をオンライン等で受講することはできません。
3.（ＣＳプログラムのみ）学費について
CSプログラムご参加の皆様は、留学派遣先のプログラムフィーをお支払いいただくことで、早稲田大学学費のお支払い
が免除となっておりますが、春学期に復学される場合は、2020年度春学期の早稲田大学の学費が発生します。
CSプログラムにご参加の方のプログラムフィーの取り扱いは協定大学により異なりますので、
現在留学センターで確認中です。各協定大学との調整が完了次第、対象者の皆様にご連絡いたします。
国際教養学部及び留学センターから現時点でプログラムフィーの取り扱いについての確定時期や
確定事項をお伝え出来ないことを予めご容赦ください。

◇To SILS SP1 Students Only
SILS will grant the following special provision to SP1 students who are studying abroad in all countries.
The Study Abroad for half-a-year will be considered as ONE-YEAR Study Abroad requirement for graduation.
◇To SILS SP2 Students
You may wish to withdraw from the study abroad program, return to Japan, and resume your studies
at SILS Waseda in Spring AY2020. The semester is expected to start from AFTER April 20.

For students who will be reinstated as Waseda University students in the spring semester of 2020,
in principle, all PASSED subjects (courses) taken up to March at the host institutions will be reviewed and considered
for credit transfer back at SILS.
In the event you have to return to Japan in the midst of the semester, we will review and evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
If you are not able to apply for/ pick up an original official transcript before departing the host country as a result of school closure,
we will accept a PDF copy at this point. You can turn in an original copy of the transcript on a later date (e.g. after the host institution reopens).
◇ Tuition Fees and CS Program Fees
Students participating in the CS programs are required to pay program fees to the host institutions
and exempted from paying Waseda University tuition fees.
Should you choose to be reinstated as a Waseda University student in the spring semester of 2020,
you will be required to pay the Waseda University tuition fees for spring semester of 2020.
For students who are participating in the CS programs, the handling policies of program fees
defer from institution to institution. We are currently checking with the CIE for more details.
After the details are finalized, participating students will be contacted.
We would greatly appreciate your understanding that the SILS Office and the CIE will not be able
to share further details at this point.
