Profile
Professor Uchida received Ph.D in Economics from Kyushu University. He had a faculty position at the University of Kitakyushu and Kyushu University before joining Waseda Business School in 2024. He also had appointments as a visiting scholar at the Stanford University, Arizona State University, and University of Utah. His research interests reside in corporate finance and governance. Professor Uchida served or currently serves as the President of Nippon Finance Association, Vice President of Asian Finance Association, Vice President of Japan Finance Association, Editor of Japan Journal of Finance, and Guest Editor of Pacific-Basin Finance Journal.
