Tadashi Takiguchi holds an MOT/MBA from Waseda Business School and Ph.D. in International Management from Waseda University. He began his career at Nomura Securities where he led many domestic and global investment deals. Subsequently, after managing several venture capital funds and hedge funds, he became CEO of WERU Investment, a venture capital firm affiliated with Waseda University. He is currently guest professor at Waseda University, director of the Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs, and investment committee member at RIKEN.
