The WBS Career Management Center (CMC) was established to provide career support services specific to the needs of business school students.  In addition to conducting various orientation seminars, CMC also circulates an email newsletter called “Weekly Newsletter” sent out each Thursday and posts announcements at the WBS Administrative Office (Waseda Campus, Bldg. 11, 3rd Floor) and at the CMC Counseling Room (Waseda Campus, Bldg. 9, Room #600).  Individual counseling on career-related topics (see below) is available for students enrolled in the following programs: International MBA, MSc in Finance, and One-year MBA.

The CMC also provides information on student internships, either received directly from organizations or circulated by the Internship Office of the Waseda University Career Center.  Interested students should directly make an inquiry with Waseda University Career Center (for general guidance, enrolling in student liability insurance, etc.)

*CMC services are designed for students in the International MBA, MSc in Finance, and One-year MBA programs.  Individual counseling is by appointment only.  Interested students should send an email inquiry indicating their full name, student ID, program name, and date of enrollment.

Counseling services includes:

• Advice on career path, background research on industry and occupation
• Instruction and advice on preparing a Japanese rirekisho/shokumu keirekisho, as well as on English resumes/curriculum vitae
• Japanese language proofreading of job application documents for international students
• Mock interviewing (Japanese, English) and practical advice
