The academic program and environment of SILS allows students to not only challenge in a broad range of fields through the liberal arts curriculum, but also specialize in a specific field of interest.
The academic program and environment of SILS allows students to not only challenge in a broad range of fields through the liberal arts curriculum, but also specialize in a specific field of interest. SILS is attactive for its breadth of learning in the liberal arts curriculum in both science-oriented and humanities-oriented areas. However, I wanted to have a key major and deepen my learning over the four years at SILS, therefore I chose international relations as my major or concentration. Classes are provied in stages from the first to the fourth year, and by arranging the subjects I would take each semester based on the requirements of the concentration, I was able to consistently study international relations, even after returning from studying abroad.
