Advanced Seminar and Senior Thesis

The Advanced Seminar and the Senior Thesis was mandatory for the students who entered SILS in 2008 and before. From 2009 it was changed to selective, but still it is highly encouraged. For more detail see Page 9 on SILS Guidebook for Students and Page 38 of the Course Registration Guide, as well as the Advanced Seminar Registration Guideline posted each semester.

Once the student starts taking the Advanced Seminar, the Submission of the Senior Thesis is mandatory before the graduation. The Senior Thesis is registered along with the Advanced Seminar usually in 8th semester. Those two courses cannot be taken separately.
