SILS offers a truly international environment I have dreamed of:
Enhancing the language abilities and immersing myself in new knowledge and perspectives. I chose to study at SILS for its international environment. Although I was already interested in Japanese culture and language, I wanted to keep continuing to study English as well. At SILS, not only a broad range of subjects are provided in English, but also I could reach various perspectives because of the professors and the students who are coming from all over the world. After 4 semesters at SILS, now I found myself interested in media and culture and desire to work for organizations where I can use the strength of media to build the relationship between Japan and Vietnam in the future.
In this globalized world we are living, I strongly believe that the language skills, the knowledge of various elds and the global perspectives that SILS teaches us are very important.
