Facility

The School of International Liberal Studies (SILS) is located in Building 11, in the heart of Waseda campus.  Please note that the building is closed on Sundays and major national holidays.  The main facilities available to SILS students in the building are as follows:

Located on the basement floor and open to the students from SILS and the School of Commerce, it carries a large collection of English and reference books. Students can view audio-visual materials here.

Students from SILS and the School of Commerce can use this spacious room to read and study. Photocopy machines can also be found near the entrance.

The student lounge is located on the second floor. It is open for use by all students. Convenience stores are also located on the first and second floor. Students can get a quick bite between lessons.

In doubts, please do not hesitate to visit us at the SILS Office. Near the entrance, you will also find a small collection of recycled books, offered by the SILS Library Volunteer Project.

From the fifth to the ninth floor, there are many classrooms and seminar rooms of varying sizes. SILS students will be attending most of their lectures in these classrooms.
