After studying management and accounting in Japan, I chose to study at the Graduate School of Finance, Accounting and Law in order to acquire advanced professional insight. Fundamental knowledge obtained in the lectures such as mathematics and statistics are indispensable for learning finance. The curriculum was highly beneficial and enabled me to acquire a solid foundation during the first semester. Throughout the course, students benefit from not only learning finance theories systematically, but also through nurturing practical skills. Personally, I think one of the biggest benefits of studying at Waseda is the huge range of material available in the Waseda University Library. I enjoy learning in a dynamic environment where I am able to collaborate with other students from various cultural backgrounds and broaden my worldview as a result. I am hoping to obtain a finance related job in my home country after graduation.
