She graduated from the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, Tokushima University, and completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Shibaura Institute of Technology (PhD). After working for Otsuka Pharmaceutical, Mars Japan, and Bluebell Japan as marketing director, etc., she served as President and Representative Director of Sisley Japan and Managing Executive Officer of Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd. She is a part-time lecturer at Shibaura Institute of Technology, a board of directors of Kita Kamakura Women’s school, and a director of Transcultural Management Society.
