2019年度卒業式・大学院学位授与式および2020年度入学式の中止について

新型コロナウイルスの影響拡大に伴い、学生・教職員および関係する皆様の健康面、安全面を考慮し、感染リスクを回避するため、３月２５日、２６日に早稲田アリーナで予定していました2019年度卒業式・大学院学位授与式を中止することにいたします。併せて、各学部および大学院毎の卒業関連式典等も中止といたしますが、学位記の授与方法等詳細につきましては、３月６日（金）を目途に大学webサイトおよびメール配信にてご案内いたします。

新たな門出を迎える卒業生の皆様、またそれを支えてこられたご家族の皆様のお気持ちを思うと非常に残念ですが、ご理解のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

また、２０２０年４月１日、２日に予定していました２０２０年度入学式も中止することにいたします。入学式に関わる行事（ガイダンス等）および年度始めの行事につきましては、改めて周知いたします。

2019Notice on the Cancellation of the March 2020 Graduation

and April 2020 Entrance Ceremonies

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure the well-being of students, parents, faculty, and staff, Waseda University has made the decision to cancel the university-wide March 2020 graduation and April 2020 entrance ceremonies. All related events, including the March 2020 graduation and April 2020 entrance ceremonies at all undergraduate and graduate schools, will be cancelled as well.

Making this decision has been extremely difficult and heartbreaking, especially when thinking about the students, their families and friends, and many others who have been looking forward to celebrating the students’ accomplishments at these events. However, given the seriousness of the situation we are facing, we hope that you will understand our decision.

Details on how and when to collect graduation certificates will be announced tentatively on March 6 through the university website and other communication means.

Information on events planned for incoming students will be updated as needed, so please wait for further announcements.
