2024年9月6日、駐日EU代表部パケ大使が、本学の竹山春子教授が主催するシンポジウムに訪問されました。大使はシンポジウムの開会に際し、貴重なスピーチを行い、田中総長ならびに参加者からの熱い拍手が送られました。
この国際シンポジウム「The International Symposium on One Health by Sustainable Bio-ecosystem」は、ムーンショット型農林水産研究開発事業の一環として実施されました。本学は、このような国際的な対話を通じて、学術的な協力関係が一層強化されていくことを期待しています。
On September 6, 2024, Mr. Paquet, the Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan visited our university to attend a symposium organized by Professor Haruko Takeyama. The Ambassador graciously provided an opening speech at the symposium, which was met with enthusiastic applause from Waseda University’s President Tanaka and the attendees.
This international symposium, titled ‘The International Symposium on One Health by Sustainable Bio-ecosystem’ was held as a part of the Moonshot Program for agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Our university looks forward to strengthening academic cooperation through such international dialogues.
