How is your life in Japan and Waseda?
Life in Japan, it’s actually fine and exciting. But, sometimes it’s difficult because I am not familiar with Japanese language. But I started to learn Japanese, hoping to communicate with my professor and lab members in Japanese in the future. I also learn Japanese dance and tea ceremony in city hall. I am very happy to come to Waseda. Before I came to Japan, I was not sure that I could get along. But I know my capability so when I came here, I started to study my field of researches hard as well as Japanese language. People around me are working and studying so hard. I learned much from them, a lot of experiences from my SENSEI (supervisor), lab members and my environments.
What are you doing on your free time?
I really enjoy my free time with my friends in Tokyo, though I don’t have much time to meet them, I am very busy and am usually in lab from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm! I have Indonesian friends and also start to make Japanese friends.
What is your career goal after your degree completion?
I want continue my study to get PhD degree, publishing papers. Now I am thinking about what I can do for my country. In the future I will come back to Indonesia.
