戸山キャンパスに生理用ナプキンを無料で提供するサービスを導入

2021年11月4日より、戸山キャンパス34号館2階および4階の女性用個室トイレ（計12個室）に、生理用ナプキンを常備し無料で提供（※）するサービス「OiTr（オイテル）」を開始します。
「Oitr」は、生理に伴う負担の軽減と、SDGsの経済格差やジェンダーギャップといった不均衡の是正に寄与するためのサービスです。戸山キャンパスにおける利用者の皆さんの声を聞きながら、今後、建物（トイレ）改修のタイミングで新たな設置についても検討していきます。
※スマートフォンにOiTr専用アプリ（無料）をダウンロードし、個室内のディスペンサーにアプリをかざすことによって、生理用ナプキンを無料で受け取ることができます。

From October 4, 2021, the University will offer OiTr, a service that provides free sanitary pads*, available in the women’s restrooms on the 2F and 4F of Building 34 on Toyama Campus (12 restrooms in total).

OiTr, which stands for “One in The restroom,” is a service which aims to reduce the burdens that accompany menstruation, as well as contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as solving economic disparity and achieving gender equality.

While taking into account the voices of those who use these facilities on Toyama Campus, the University will continue to consider implementing new services to coincide with building (restroom) renovations in the future.

*Note: Sanitary pads can be claimed free of charge by downloading OiTr’s free smartphone application, turning your smartphone’s Bluetooth on, and holding your smartphone close to the restroom dispenser.
