イベントの制限について

　2021年6月21日以降の本学または本学教職員が主催するイベントおよび本学を会場とする本学以外の団体等が主催するイベントの制限を以下のとおりといたします。

なお、イベントの開催にあたっては、以下の「イベント開催にあたっての条件・留意点」を遵守いただき、十分な感染予防対策を講じていただくようお願いいたします。

イベント開催にあたっての条件・留意点

• 原則、オンライン形式での実施を強く推奨する。
• オンライン形式での開催が適当でない場合には、下記のいずれかの場合のみ、開催を認める。

1. 本学の箇所または本学教職員が主催するイベントで、屋内で実施する場合、実施会場の収容定員に対し4分の１以下とし、かつ食事を伴わないこと。
   ※学外の参加者がいる場合には、学外者にはオンラインでの参加を強く推奨。
   ※新型コロナウイルス対策本部会議にて個別に認められたイベントについては収容定員の２分の１以下でも開催可。
2. 本学を会場とする本学以外の団体等が主催するイベントで、屋内で実施する場合、実施会場の収容定員に対し2分の1以下とし、かつ食事を伴わないこと。

• イベント中の食事は原則禁止。ただし、運営上やむを得ず食事が必要な場合は、各自に配付される弁当等をできるだけ会話を避け、短時間で食べること。なお、飲料は可とする。また、片付けの際は感染予防を徹底すること。

上記制限は、本学の授業や研究活動の継続を最優先に考え、当面の間の適用とするが、感染状況に変化があった場合は適宜制限を変更する。

Restrictions for on-Campus Events
After June 21, 2021

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Effective June 21, 2021, the new rules for holding on-campus events, including those organized by the University or Waseda faculty/staff as well as external parties, will be as noted below.

All students, faculty and staff are expected to strictly adhere to the following regulations, and these regulations will be in effect on all Waseda campuses, including campuses outside Tokyo.

The new rules for holding on-campus events:

• Above all else, it is strongly recommended that all events be held online.
• If an event is not suitable to an online format, on-campus events will be permitted only if adhering to one of the following cases and rules:

1. Indoor, on-campus events organized by either the University or faculty/staff must not have participants exceeding a quarter of the maximum venue capacity. Eating during the event will not be permitted.
   Note:
   – The University would strongly prefer for external participants to attend events by online means.
   – Events that have been pre-approved by the Novel Coronavirus Response Headquarters may have a maximum number of participants set to less than half of the maximum venue capacity.
2. Indoor, on-campus events organized by external parties must not have participants exceeding half the maximum venue capacity. Eating during the event will not be permitted.

• In principle, no eating or drinking will be allowed during an event. However, if having meals become necessary, avoid conversations during meals and finish eating as quickly as possible. Drinking will be allowed. When cleaning up afterward, take thorough measures to prevent infection.

The above regulations are laid out to prioritize the continuation of on-campus classes and research activities. Depending on situations regarding the state of society, the government’s response policy, and Covid-19 infection, changes to the rules mentioned above may be made as appropriate.
