Waseda Moodle （Contents provided by the library）
Waseda Moodle includes videos on “How to search materials” and “Guide to using various databases (Japanese only)”. The following are basic contents that are used particularly frequently. You can use them by clicking the links. (For on-campus users only)
◆How to Use Library Resources Efficiently
“What do I need to do to prepare my report assignment?” “How do I collect materials for my essays and theses?” To solve such problems, we will provide you with the basics of how to find library materials.
◆研究・論文作成に役立つ英語論文の探し方 (Japanese only)
We will show you how to find articles for research and writing papers, using English article search as an example. The main focus is on the explanation of “Web of Science”, an article index database. We will also briefly introduce the databases “Scopus”, “EBSCO host”, and “ProQuest”.
Guides & Tutorials
“Guides & Tutorials” provide guides and contents to help you learn how to use the library. These are mainly text versions that can be easily checked out. There is also a library introduction video for first-time library users.
Reference Services
Library staff are available for consultations about book searches and library services. Please visit the Reference Desk at each library if you are unable to locate books and other materials, or if you are unsure how to search for library materials. During the school terms, LAs (current graduate student Learning Assistants) can assist your learning and answer your questions about library services.
