Library Learning Assistant (LA) Desk is now available at the 2nd floor of the Central Library!!

What’s an LA?

LAs are graduate students, and they can assist your learning and answer your questions about library services.

Who can consult with an LA?

Everyone!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask us!!

• I don’t know where to start researching my essay! Can you help me find some materials?
• Is there something you want to know about the library’s facilities or book locations.(e.g. Where is the copy room? How can I get into B2F?)
• How can I find materials with using online databeses or WINE system?

Location and service hours

Location: Commons 1, the 2nd floor of the Central Library. Service hours: Mon.-Fri. 10:40a.m. – 6:40p.m. (closed during term breaks) ^{*LAs may be absent from the Desk depending on their working hours.}

LA Time table [Central Library]

Learning Assistant (LA) is a graduate student affiliated with the Faculty of Science & Engineering. They mainly answer questions about the learning and research of undergraduate students.
Please feel free to contact LA not only about their specialized field, but also about how to proceed with your report and graduation thesis, and how to find materials.
No reservation is required.

The timetable is as follows (excluding closing dates and class holidays). Please note that they may not be present.
