研究概要

Phase change heat transfer is very important in the design of the heat exchanger of the air conditioner. In particular, the characteristics of refrigerants during the phase change process should be sufficiently investigated and considered as design parameters. In particular, the two-phase characteristics differ significantly in the heat transfer process such as evaporation and condensation, which is closely related to the two-phase flow pattern. This study examines the two-phase characteristics of a refrigerant known as void fraction under smooth heat transfer conditions.

The research plan for the purpose is as below:

1.Build a test section to perform evaporation and condensation heat exchange based on analysis of heat exchanger for domestic air conditioner

2.Considering the measurement method for heat transfer mode applicapable using capacitance-based method

3.Void fraction measurement according to heat transfer mode

4.Analysis and comparion with present correlation

Prospects:
It is believed that it could be an essential factor in modeling the actual heat exchanger of void fraction measured according to the heat transfer mode. Through this, it is expected that the air conditioner performance evaluation simulator, which currently has a limitation of accuracy, can also be developed.
