研究概要

The research purpose is to study the effect of a stratified tank on the performance of a heat pump water heater at various climate conditions. The performance of a heat pump water heater(heating capacity, power consumption, and COP)depends on the temperature condition at the bottom of the tank. If the temperature at the bottom of thetank increases, the performance of the heat pump water heater will be reduced, and it will have negative effect on the life cycle climate performance. Therefore, this research aimsto get the optimum stratified tank that will keep the performance of the heat pump water heater in different climate conditions

The research is planned as below:
1.Construct the stratified tank model that considers charging, discharging, and simultaneous charging-discharging.
2.Simulate performance of the overall heat pump water heating system with a stratified tank.
3.Validatethe model using drop-in test experiment and analyze the effect of water temperature in tank on the performance of the heat pump water heater.
4.Optimizeoperating parameters in the tank such as the inlet waterflowrate heat exchanger and the water demand, geometric parameters such as height and diameter of the tank that can keep the performance of the heat pump water heater and analyze their effect on theCO2emissionby LCCP method.
