修士課程修了見込証明書の発行について

IPS事務所による修了見込判定で「修了見込みあり」と判定された場合、所定の発行開始日から修了見込証明書を発行できます。

1．修了見込証明書の発行時期

• 標準コース：
  入学後1年経過後の6月1日または11月10日から発行
• Fコース：
  入学後半年経過後の6月1日または11月10日から発行

※休学・留学の期間は在学年数に含めません。
※発行開始日が日曜日の場合は、翌営業日から発行します。

2．判定の条件

（1）修了予定学期より前の判定

• 標準コース：
  基礎・専門・実験を合わせて18単位以上
  （基礎科目は4単位まで算入可）
• Fコース：
  基礎・専門・実験を合わせて18単位以上
  （基礎科目は6単位まで算入可）
• 両コース共通：
  特論・演習を合わせて4単位以上
  （上記と合わせて合計22単位以上）

（2）修了予定学期以降の判定

• 中間発表を実施済みであること。
• 修了予定学期に登録している科目の単位をすべて修得した場合に、修了に必要な単位数を満たす見込みがあること。
• 休学等により、予定している時期に修了できない状態ではないこと。

3．修了見込証明書の位置づけ

修了見込証明書は、修了要件をすでに満たしていることを証明するものではありません。就職活動・進学等のため、上記の基準を満たした学生に発行する証明書です。

修了要件を満たしているかどうかは、研究科要項とMyWasedaの成績照会画面を照らし合わせ、各自の責任で確認してください。

4．証明書の申請方法

証明書はMyWasedaから申請してください。IPS事務所では発行できません。

Issuance of the Certificate of Expected Completion
(Master’s Program)

If the IPS Office determines that you are expected to complete the program, you may obtain a Certificate of Expected Completion from the applicable issuance date.

1. Issuance Dates

• Regular Course:
  June 1 or November 10 after one year of enrollment
• F Course:
  June 1 or November 10 after six months of enrollment

Periods of leave of absence or study abroad are not counted toward the enrollment period.
If the issuance date falls on a Sunday, certificates will be available from the following business day.

2. Assessment Criteria

(1) Assessment before the semester in which you expect to complete the program

• Regular Course:
  At least 18 credits in total from fundamental, advanced, and laboratory subjects. Up to 4 credits from fundamental subjects may be counted.
• F Course:
  At least 18 credits in total from fundamental, advanced, and laboratory subjects. Up to 6 credits from fundamental subjects may be counted.
• Both courses:
  At least 4 credits in total from specialized subjects and exercises, for a combined total of at least 22 credits.

(2) Assessment in or after the semester in which you expect to complete the program

• You must have completed the master’s thesis midterm presentation.
• If you earn all credits for the courses in which you are registered during the expected final semester, you must be expected to meet the credit requirements for completion.
• You must be able to complete the program by the expected completion date and must not be prevented from doing so due to a leave of absence or similar circumstances.

3. Purpose of the Certificate

The Certificate of Expected Completion does not certify that you have already fulfilled the program completion requirements. It is issued to eligible students for purposes such as job hunting or further study.

You are responsible for checking whether you meet the completion requirements by comparing the IPS Study Guide with your academic record in MyWaseda.

Please read this document for details on the eligibility criteria and periods when the certificate cannot be issued.

4. How to Apply

Please apply for the certificate through MyWaseda. Certificates cannot be issued at the IPS Office.
