1. Waseda IDの取得について （全員対応必須） / Obtaining your Waseda ID

【日本語】
Waseda IDは、入学後のメールアドレス取得、MyWaseda（学生ポータルサイト）へのログイン、科目登録、各種申請手続等に必要となる極めて重要な個人認証情報です。
UCARO上に表示される「Waseda ID利用者控」を必ず確認し、案内に従って初期設定（メールアドレス取得・MyWasedaログイン設定）を行ってください。
科目登録やオリエンテーション参加に必要となるため、できるだけ早期に設定を完了させることを強く推奨します。

Your Waseda ID is essential for obtaining your university email address, logging into MyWaseda, course registration, and all academic procedures.
Please confirm your “Waseda ID Users’ Copy” displayed on UCARO and complete the initial setup (email registration and MyWaseda login) as early as possible.
Early completion is strongly recommended because it is required for course registration and participation in orientations.

2. 入学式について / Entrance Ceremony

情報生産システム研究科の入学式は、対面形式で実施予定です。原則としてスーツまたはこれに準じた服装で参加してください。
当日出席できない新入生およびご家族向けには、オンライン配信を実施します。

The IPS Entrance Ceremony will be held face-to-face. Please attend in formal attire (a suit or equivalent).

3. 学生証（新入生）受取方法 / Student ID Card

【日本語】
学生証は、新入生オリエンテーション期間中に対面で配付予定です。原則として郵送対応は行いません。
当日受取ができない場合は、後日IPS事務所窓口にて受領してください。

• 配付日時：2026年4月2日（木）　10時～11時
• 配付場所：IPSのS棟講義室（当日案内掲示をします）
• 持参物：受験票を持参してください。受験票は出願時のTAOから出力できます（博士後期課程の内部進学・科目等履修生・研究生を除く）。

※修士→博士への進学等で受験票がそもそも無い場合は、在留カード等の身分証明書を持参してください。

Student ID cards will be distributed in person during the orientation period. Mail delivery is not available in principle.
If you cannot receive your card on the designated day, please collect it later at the IPS Office.

• Distribution Date and Time: Thursday, April 2, 2026, 10:00–11:00 (JST)
• Distribution Venue: Lecture Room in IPS Building S (directions will be posted on-site on the day)
• What to bring: Your application card (受験票). It can be output from TAO at the time of application (except for internal progression in the doctoral program, non-degree students, and research students).

*If you do not have an application card (e.g., in the case of advancing from the Master’s Program to the Doctoral Program), please bring a valid form of identification such as your residence card.

学籍番号の確認方法（新入生向け） / How to confirm your Student ID number

【日本語】
学籍番号は学生証に記載しています。学生証受取前でも、Waseda ID取得後にMyWasedaから確認できます。

1. MyWasedaにログインし、「ホーム」左メニューの「個人情報照会・変更」をクリック
2. 「学生基本情報変更」をクリックし、「個人情報の変更」画面を開く
3. 「本人情報」に学籍番号（8桁）が表示されます

Your Student ID number is printed on your student ID card. Even if you have not yet received it, you can confirm it via MyWaseda after setting up your Waseda ID.

1. Log in to MyWaseda → (Home) left menu → Personal Information Inquiry/Change
2. Student Basic Information Change → open Personal Information Change screen
3. Your 8-digit Student ID number appears under “Personal Information”

【日本語】
履修ガイダンス、分野紹介、学生生活オリエンテーション等を実施予定です。3月実施のものはオンライン（ZOOM）開催、4月以降に開催のものは対面形式で実施します。
Zoom情報は、開催日までに出願時メールアドレスおよびWasedaメール宛に配信されますので、必ず定期的に確認してください。

We will provide course guidance, field introductions, laboratory introductions, and Orientation for Student Life.
Sessions held in March will be conducted online via Zoom, and sessions held from April onward will be conducted face-to-face.

5. （修士課程のみ）研究室仮配属について / Provisional Laboratory Assignment (Master’s)

【日本語】
修士課程学生は、原則として入学後最初の半年間は研究室仮配属となります（Fコース等、既に研究室が決定している学生を除く）。
仮配属期間中に教員との面談等を行い、その後に研究室本配属を決定します。上記の履修ガイダンス資料および以下のページを参照のうえ、IPS教員との面談等を進めてください。

【English】
In principle, Master’s Program students will be provisionally assigned to a laboratory for the first six months (except students whose laboratories are already assigned, such as F-Course students).
During the provisional period, you will have interviews/consultations with faculty members, and then your official laboratory assignment will be decided.
Please refer to the course guidance materials above and the following page, and proceed with consultations with IPS faculty members.

9. 学生定期健康診断について / Health Checkup

【日本語】
大学指定の定期健康診断を必ず受診してください。健康診断未受診の場合、証明書発行等に支障が生じます。

• 北九州キャンパスにいる方のみ対象となります。要項にあるグループ分け表を確認し、受付時間に遅れないようご集合ください。4月8日に受診できなかった方は、以下をご参照ください。

※健康診断証明書の発行は窓口申請のみとなり、4月入学の新入生は6月上旬から発行可能です。

※証明書発行のためには、早稲田大学の健康診断を受ける必要があり、受けなかった場合はご自分で個別の医療機関を受診し、証明書等を発行してもらう必要があります。

11. 【重要】学費引落口座登録 / [Important] Tuition Payment Account Registration

【日本語】
学費等は2セメスター目からは原則として口座振替（自動引落）方式で納入します。各自で学費引落口座登録手続を必ず行ってください。この設定をしない場合は、学費負担者宛て（国内在住に限る）に紙の振込用紙が大学経理課より発送されます。

【English】
From the second semester onward, tuition and other fees are, in principle, paid via automatic bank withdrawal (direct debit).
All students must complete the procedure to register their bank account for tuition withdrawal.
If you do not complete this registration, a paper payment slip will be sent by the University Accounting Office to the tuition payer (limited to those residing in Japan).
