This program is a semester-long exchange program based on the exchange agreements between WBS and overseas business schools.
A few for each school
*In order to adjust the balance of acceptances/sendings, it is possible that some schools may not accept applications during certain semesters.
The study abroad period is typically 3 to 5 months (may differ depending on the exchange program and host university). Under the agreement between WBS and the partner institutions, the study abroad period will be counted into the enrollment period of Waseda University.
Students must pay all tuition fees to Waseda University; subsequently the entire tuition fee of the host institution will be exempted. Students are also responsible for their own airfare, lodging, textbooks, health insurance costs, and other living expenses.
Even if you are studying at a non-English-speaking university, you will participate in the English-based program at that school. TOEIC scores are accepted as proof of English proficiency for selection within Waseda, but some schools additionally require TOEFL or IELTS scores.
*Please understand that schedules vary greatly from school to school, so this information is for reference only.

Credit transfer is available for study abroad programs organized through Waseda University (Inter-departmental Agreement Exchange, Inter-university Agreement Exchange, Inter-departmental Summer School Program, and Qtem Program). In principle, credits earned during privately financed study abroad not via Waseda University are not transferable.
This is a study abroad program based on inter-university agreements between Waseda University and its partner universities. In principle, the period of study abroad is one academic year. Since this is a long-term study abroad program, please consult carefully with your academic advisor regarding the extension of your enrollment and the timing of your thesis submission before applying for this program.
For more information, please visit the Center for International Education website.
The QTEM was established in 2014 to nurture highly skilled Master’s students who can take an initiative in the international community. The QTEM Master offers a unique learning experience by providing participants with: strong foundations in management or economics, strong background in quantitative and analytical skills and the techniques applied to management or economics, strong international exposure through two study stays abroad at two prestigious institutions from the network of Academic Partners, and strong immersion in the reality of industry through a company internship. Through this program, students will acquire not only language skills but also specialized knowledge as well as working experience, which will make it possible for them to broaden their career options to work in international corporations.
