The cultural projects promoted by Cultural Affairs Division Cultural Planning Section through collaboration with the local community are important activities that return the university's knowledge and resources to the local community and hold events that make use of the local characteristics. This deepens the ties between the university and the local community, expands cultural activities, and produces results that are beneficial to both parties.
By participating in events, faculty, staff and students can provide specialized knowledge and skills to the local community and create a place for interaction with local residents. It is a practical learning opportunity for students and a cultural experience opportunity for local residents. In addition, events that utilize the unique culture and history of the region also contribute to regional revitalization.
Such initiatives not only fulfill the university's social responsibility, but also provide students with valuable experiences that deepen their learning and contribute to the development of local culture.
The Waseda Culture Site is operated by Cultural Affairs Division as a base for disseminating the university's cultural resources and information.
