Declaration: "Wasemeshi and Wasemachi are Waseda culture"

早稲田大学のキャンパス周辺は、早大生や教職員、校友、街の方々が交流する交差点であり、たくさんの出会いがあります。みなさんには、馴染みの食堂やお気に入りのカフェがあることでしょう。早稲田大学文化企画課は、早大生の青春の舞台である早稲田大学の町（ワセマチ）も、飲食店（ワセメシ）も大切な「早稲田文化」のひとつだと考えています。

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wasemachi is devoid of Waseda students. Many restaurants have suffered major damage. We want to support Wasemeshi and Wasemachi, which are part of Waseda culture. In this section, we will mainly introduce restaurants in the area around the campus. We hope that this information will be useful for first-year students who are not yet able to attend school... We hope that upperclassmen will stop by their familiar restaurants when they visit the campus... We are sure that alumni will also support Wasemachi and Wasemeshi... With these hopes in mind, we will provide you with information about Wasemeshi and Wasemachi.
