APRU Carbon Neutral Society- Action Month
A carbon-neutral society to fight climate change? Yes, definitely! And how?

Climate change is a critical global issue that affects both societies and industries, as the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow in November 2021 recently reaffirmed. It is crucial to take concrete steps toward a carbon-neutral society and implement solutions that promote sustainability and economic development. Increasing resource efficiency, reducing environmental impact, strengthening disaster resilience, and decarbonizing society are just some of today’s challenges. To address these issues effectively and without jeopardizing people’s well-being, we need to draw on the expertise of researchers from a variety of disciplines in order to build an efficient and sustainable society.

This weekly webinar series will bring together a diverse group of experts from across the network to discuss how to combat global warming and create a sustainable society. It features lectures by renowned experts, Q&A sessions, and interactive online activities.

Date & Registration
• The five-week webinar Series begins from May 13th to June 10th at 10:00 am (Japan time)
• Duration: 90 minutes
Register here before May 9th!
