As a rule, student or faculty/staff ID and Library cards are required when using each library and reading room.
Open hours and dates may change during vacation period. For more information, please direct inquiries to each library and room.

  • Undergraduate students, Students from Waseda University Senior High School, Art & Architecture School, Waseda Card holders and alumni association card holders can use the Takata Library if any other libraries in Waseda do not have the book you want. The book title and call number are needed to use the library.
  • For visitors, please see Information for Visitors (In Japanese Only) and Information for Other Library Staff (In Japanese Only).
  • Users from cooperative agreement libraries cannot use the Takata Library directly. A letter of introduction from your university’s library is required.
