We are holding various workshops, lectures, and events to meet the students’ needs like these. Let’s utilize the rich library resources of Waseda!
The schedule will be announced on the NEWS on the top page of the library’s website, the library’s X, and the library’s facebook.
We have 20+ libraries in Waseda including Central Library, 4 campus libraries, 7 student reading rooms, 5 school libraries, and others. The libraries house over 5.8 million volumes of books in total.
The largest one, Central Library, holds a “Self-Guided Tour” that helps you get to know the library and learn how to use it. It will support your student life to join the tour.
Visit 10 points in the Central Library, answer the quizzes and win a library original folder! You can choose one from 5 folders!

Library Workshop Series are the small-group workshops held by librarians.
Other lectures such as the lectures for the students on job hunting and the lectures for the graduate students are also held.
Library Week takes place twice a year, in spring and in autumn, to welcome new students and to stimulate the intellectual curiosity of everybody at Waseda. During the week, various events such as concerts, lectures, and exhibitions are held.
