私たちは『シャベル:早稲田で性暴力の根を切る』というサークルです！早稲田大学において「性的同意」の概念を広めることで、ジェンダーに基づく差別や暴力の根絶を目指しています。

/主な活動は、Voice up Japan 早稲田支部と早稲田大学ジェンダー研究所の先生方の協力の元、オリジナルの「性的同意ハンドブック」を制作し、各学部のオリエンテーションなどで配布してもらえるように働きかけています。さらには学内の授業に登壇し、性的同意についてのワークショップを実施しています。

/過去には、学内の性差別的な文化(「一姫二女三婆四屍」や「ワセ女お断り」、飲み会でのセクハラ行為など)について警鐘を鳴らすビラを配布・掲示したり、立て看板を設置しました。

/また、団体名に「（根を切る道具としての）シャベル 」の他に「（性について）喋る」という意味が込められているように、性について真面目に話せる環境づくりにも取り組んでいます。

/性的同意にまつわるテーマでお話するイベント「シャベルカフェ」を開催したり、サークル員限定の勉強会や読書会を開催し、定期的に情報共有を行っています。

/このように、サークル員が自主的に企画を考え、積極的に啓発活動をしています。活動量を調整できるので、他のサークルとの両立も可能です！

/We are Shaberu: Cutting the Roots of Sexual Violence at Waseda! We aim to eradicate gender-based discrimination and violence by spreading the concept of “sexual consent” at Waseda University.

/Our main activity is to produce an original ?Sexual Consent Handbook? with the cooperation of Voice Up Japan Waseda Branch and professors of Waseda University Gender Research Institute. We are working to distribute the handbook at the orientation of each faculty. In addition， we conduct workshops on sexual consent in classes.

/In the past， we have distributed and posted flyers and erected billboards warning about the sexist culture on campus.

/In addition， as the name of the organization means ?to talk (about sex)? in addition to ?shovel (as a tool for cutting roots)，? we are also working to create an environment where people can talk seriously about sex.

/We hold “Shaberu Caf” events to talk about topics related to gender and sexuality， and hold study and reading sessions exclusively for circle members to share information on a regular basis.

/In this way， circle members plan independently and actively engage in awareness-raising activities. The amount of activity can be adjusted， so you can balance your time with other circles!
