Research Summary
This research focuses on the Blue Ocean Shift strategy, a practical theory and approach to business creation, and conducts an empirical examination through its application in practice within Japan. The research aims to develop
methodologies that contribute to the practical implementation of the theory, while extending its application beyond corporations to include areas such as events and regional revitalization. In addition, the research seeks to explore
practical applications of the Blue Ocean Strategy within companies. Although the research institute will primarily take the lead in these activities, to further expand the application of the Blue Ocean Shift, the outcomes of this
research may serve as a trigger for initiatives undertaken by other departments and organizations within Waseda University.
