【Programme Objects】
The Summer Undergraduate Research Programme （SURP） enables students
from a wide range of academic disciplines from overseas and
non-Chinese universities to develop research skills and knowledge in a
chosen area of research, as well as to prepare for postgraduate
studies. Through participating in SURP, students will conduct a
research project under the supervision of a CUHK faculty member. The
programme will take place from 8 June to 31 July for approx. 8 weeks,
with an option to extend up to 10 weeks till 14 August 2015.
【Program Period】
8 June to 31 July （8 weeks）, with an option to extended up to 14
August（10 weeks）.
【Program Details】
Participating students will:
・Concuct a research project under the supervision of a host supervisor.
・Take part in orientation and cultural activities.
・Be registered in a 3 credits course. They will receive a grade from
their supervisors and a transcript will be issued upon successful
completion of the program.
【Application】
Applicants should complete an online application form and provide
his/her latest transcript, as well as one support letter from a
professor at the home institution. Application must be submitted
online on or before April 15.
