カナダ屈指の名門大学で世界的にも評価が高い大学である。1853年のユニバーシティカレッジ設立以降、トリニティカレッジ、ビクトリア大学、セントマイケルズカレッジも運営している。キャンパス敷地内に美術館や遺跡、公園、博物館、歴史的建造物などがあり、セントジョージ、スカボロ、ミシサガに3つのキャンパスを持つ。アメリカを含めた北米全体でも5番目の規模を有し、これまでにこれまでに5人のカナダ首相、生理学・医学賞2人、物理学賞2人、化学賞2人、平和賞2人の計8人のノーベル賞受賞者を輩出している。

留学体験談 / Testimonial

Q.留学を通じて得た成果を教えてください/What have you achieved through studying abroad?
I gained a broader perspective from taking courses of the same subjects in Waseda and UofT as I was able to see differences in how the same issues
are viewed. It was also challenging to keep up with some of the courses because of the amount of readings assigned every week, so I feel that I was
able to gain much by pushing myself to complete the requirements for each class. My experience in Toronto also helped me to gain confidence and changed me in that I now find it easier to act more friendly towards people where before I would have hesitated to speak.

中期プログラム／出願上の注意ー Notes on Application to Semester Programs

留学が必修となっている国際教養学部の学生は、学部の許可をとった上で応募してください。
For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
その他、専門演習（ゼミ）の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。

Students on extension (encho-sei) who participate in semester programs are required to pay the full tuition and other academic fees set by their Schools instead of the reduced fees for students on extension.You should confirm details with your School Offices.
