Beginning in Spring 2025, the following changes will be made regarding course registration.

Change 1
Courses of the SSS general program of the School of Social Sciences (taught in Japanese) will be available from the first through third registration periods regardless of whether they are open courses or not.

Change 2
“Application Information Confirmation Email” and “Registration Result Confirmation Email” will not be sent. Going forward, please confirm your latest application status and registration result on your course registration screen in MyWaseda.

Intermission (Study Leave)

After you start your course, you may choose participation in a summer school or study abroad. In order to defer your studies halfway through, you are required to apply for intermission during the allotted time period. After returning from study leave, you may take the course by applying for resumption during the allotted time period. This is applicable for semester and full-year courses.

Extra Course Registration

“Extra Course Registration” refers to the system that enables students to newly take courses offered in the summer or the winter quarter or intensive courses during the spring or summer vacation, when they return from studying abroad.
