Waseda Culture and Art Week 2024 has concluded! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Waseda Culture and Art Week 2024 was held from Friday, October 11th to Monday, October 21st, 2024. In order to spread the appeal of "Waseda Culture," we held about 30 events, including live performances and concerts by students, gift events, stamp rallies, portrait events, exhibitions, and lectures. Thank you to everyone who participated over the 11 days.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the students who enlivened "Waseda Culture" with their wonderful performances, and to the merchants and other related parties around the university who warmly watched over and supported the Waseda Culture event.

[Museum LIVE] The opening live performance on the first day was a huge success under clear autumn skies.

[Okuma LIVE] It was like a Waseda Culture Festival! Stage performances from a variety of genres were presented, including music clubs, comedy clubs, and performance clubs.

[Waseda Symphony Orchestra performs WASEDA Anniversary Concert 2024] The Waseda University Anthem and Glory of Waseda were performed to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of Waseda University.

[I'm Waseda] A lecture by StudySapuri social studies instructor and alumnus, Mr. Gaichi Ito. We heard Mr. Gaichi's passionate thoughts about Waseda, which are filled with love for the university.

[Cartoon Giveaway @ Tokorozawa Cafeteria] Held for the first time at the Tokorozawa Campus! Students and faculty who visited the Tokorozawa Cafeteria completed a memorable photo.

[Waseda University and Meiji University Joint Cheering Demonstration] We sent enthusiastic cheers to the victory at Jingu Stadium.

[Museum Concert in the History Museum featuring Waseda University Women's Choir] The clear, singing voices unique to a women's choir echoed throughout the open-air cafe terrace of the History Museum.

[Waseda University Tsugaru Shamisen Enthusiasts Club Mitsudomoe performs at a museum concert in The Waseda International House of Literature (The Haruki Murakami Library)] The elegant sounds of the Tsugaru shamisen echoed throughout the building, filling The Waseda International House of Literature (The Haruki Murakami Library) with a Japanese atmosphere.

[Waseda Sports Newspaper Club presents the Waseda Sports Exhibition] Restaurants around the university held a photo exhibition showcasing the brave performances of each of the university's athletic teams.

[History Museum Tour] Student Advisors for Waseda Culture shared the appeal of Waseda's history and culture.

[Watch the movie "Whale Restaurant" and talk about SDGs - Food diversity from the Jomon period, whales -] A screening event inviting the director of the movie, Keiko Yagi. After the screening, there was a Q&A session, interaction, and a whale meat tasting experience.

[Waseda University Hawaiian Folk Dance Study Group performs at Museum Live Honjo Waseda no Mori Museum] Soothing Hawaiian music and relaxed hula dancing brought healing and inspiration to the entire venue.

[Waseda Sports Anniversary Stage] Members of each athletics club expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support and stated their aspirations for the upcoming Waseda-Keio game in the fall.

[Wasemeshi Stamp Rally] 83 stores participated this time. Thank you to all the stores for your continued cooperation!

During the event, Hiro's cafe, Vegeto Coffee, and Orange Cat offered collaborative menus.

A specially made "Wasemeshi Lunch Flag" will also be available in stores in limited quantities! Those who came across one were lucky.

Many people also participated in the events presented by Student Advisors for Waseda Culture including the Museum Word Puzzle, Find the Waseda Bear! in the Museum, and Museum Stamp Rally. They toured the university museum while answering quizzes and collecting stamps.

We hope you were able to experience the charm of the diverse Waseda culture that includes dance, music, sports, museums, and Waseda food.
Next year's Waseda Culture and Art Week is also scheduled to be held in October. Please look forward to it.
