We have 20+ libraries in Waseda including Central Library, campus libraries, student reading rooms, school libraries, and others. The libraries house over 5.8 million volumes of books in total.
The largest one, Central Library, holds a “Self-Guided Tour” that helps you get to know the library and learn how to use it. It will support your student life to join the tour.
Visit 10 points in the Central Library, answer the quizzes and win a library original folder! You can choose one from 5 folders!

Reception Desk (Start and Goal Point)
- Start: near the Grand Staircase, 2nd floor, Central Library
- Goal: Reference Desk on the 2nd floor, Central Library
* The tour is also available outside of the period of the Library Week.

- Mon. to Fri. 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
*Self-Guided Tour is available from 9:00AM-5:00PM(Mon.-Fri.)until Friday, April 11.

- DO NOT be in a hurry!
Please take your time. No matter how long it takes, learn about the library properly. - If you do not have a smartphone, please come to the Reference Desk. You can participate with a paper answer sheet.
For teachers who incorporate Self-Guided Tour into their classes
“Certificate of Completion” will be issued at the Reference Desk only if requested by the student. If a certificate is required, please instruct your student to request it at the end of the tour.
