【Eligibility】Those who are now appointed and will continue your current positions in Academic Year (AY) 2024* with the following qualifications;
Professor (non-tenure-track / tenure-track), Associate Professor (non-tenure-track / tenure-track), Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track / tenure-track), Guest Professor, Guest Associate Professor, Guest Assistant Professor, Part-time Lecturer, Instructor (Part-time), Senior Researcher, Researcher, Junior Researcher, Research Associate, Guest Senior Researcher, Guest Researcher and Guest Junior Researcher
*In the case that the date of your appointment is in the middle of the AY, for example, the appointed from fall semester of AY 2024, you can renew your expiration date if you have been appointed in the AY 2023.
Since the expiration date of your library patron data is set for each AY, your library patron data expires on March 30, 2024.
We would like to inform you about the renewal of the expiration date of your library patron data and the procedure.
There are different procedures depending on when your positions of the university in AY 2024 are decided, so please check the relevant section for yourself.
(1) [Those who have been confirmed to be employed at the university with the same position in AY 2024 by the end of February 2024 (your data of AY 2024 reflected in the university)]
In early March 2024, we will automatically renew the expiration date of your library patron data until the end of AY 2024 (March 31, 2025), so you do not need to go through the procedure at the desks of the libraries.
The due date of the books borrowed in AY 2023 is March 30, 2024 at the longest. After the expiration date renewal, the normal loan period will be applied, and you will be able to borrow books and extend your due date beyond March 30.
(2) [Those who have not been confirmed to be employed at the university with the same position in AY 2024 by the end of February 2024 (your data of AY 2024 not yet reflected in the university)]
(2)-① Those who will not borrow books beyond the end of AY
The expiration date of your library patron data will be automatically renewed until the end of AY 2024 (March 31, 2025) on April 1, 2024, so you do not need to go through the procedure at the libraries.

Please note that you need to go through the procedure at the desks of the libraries.
For Part-time Lecturer
・Please bring your Faculty ID Card of which the sticker of AY 2024 on the back when you use the libraries from April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025.
・Please ask the sticker of AY 2024 to our Personnel Section in the case that the date of your appointment is in the middle of the AY, for example, the appointed from fall semester of AY 2024.
・If you have a previous library card issued previously, please return it to the library.
