Program description:
Conducting literature reviews and searching for relevant sources is a huge part of writing your undergraduate or graduate thesis. It’s the first step in understanding past research and finding your own topic.
We’ll introduce you to some really useful databases and share some practical tips with you, like how to select keywords for searching academic materials. Our library staff are here to support you at every stage of your research journey.
You are adviced to watch the library content posted on Moodle beforehand.
Prepare your own computer for practice searching materials.
Application & Notes:
- Please click here to register in advance. Registration closes the day before the workshop.
- Participation link will be provided in the e-mail which will be automatically sent to your Waseda email address upon registration.
- Please make sure to install the Zoom application in advance. We recommend that you prepare a separate device (smartphone or PC) for screen sharing and a PC for searching together.
- (To those who require accommodation) Attendees who desire accommodations (PC speech-to-text interpretation; sign-language interpretation; guidance at venue; securing of seats), including those bringing children, should inform us at least 10 days before the date of the event.
