We are pleased to announce the establishment of a collection of books donated by retired faculty members of the Faculty of Science and Engineering to the Science and Engineering Library, which will be available for students to read.
Each book in this collection is specially equipped with the signature of the professor and a text contributed by the professor.
We hope you will feel free to pick up a book and look at it with your memories of the professor.
“The Collection of Books Donated by Retired Faculty Members of the Faculty of Science and Engineering”
Location: Bldg. 51, B2F, North Reading Room, Science and Engineering Library
Purpose: The Science and Engineering Library will accept donations from retired faculty members of the Faculty of Science and Engineering of books that they have written themselves or that they used to read as students and that they would like to pass on to their students for many years to come, and establish a section in the Science and Engineering Library where they can read them.
As the first such donation, we would like to report that we have received books donated by three professors who retired on March 31, 2023, and would like to express our deepest gratitude to them.
