The 2022 summer holiday period at Waseda University will run from Saturday, July 30 to Tuesday, September 20. During this period, all offices and facilities will be closed during the following dates:
- All weekends and public holidays
- Friday, August 12
- Monday, August 15 to Friday, August 19

Furthermore, Waseda’s Open Campus will be held on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7, and parts of Waseda’s campuses will be closed. Many visitors will come to our campuses during these days, so it might be a bit inconvenient to use facilities during that time. For more information about Open Campus, use the link below:

1．Opening times for undergraduate and graduate school offices and campus facilities
School offices and facilities will have different opening times during the summer holidays. In general, these offices will be closed on weekends and public holidays. Each office handles their front desk operation times, phone times, grade announcements, re-examinations, course registration differently, so please refer to your school’s homepage for more information:

The following are the operation times of our campuses/facilities:
Waseda Campus
- Operation hours: 8:00-19:30
- Operation hours for weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19: 8:00-18:00
Toyama Campus
- Operation hours: 8:00-19:30
- Operation hours for weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 16-19: 8:00-18:00
- Note: North entrance can be accessed from 8:00-22:30
- Student Center operation hours: 8:00-22:00 (closed Aug. 12-15, Sep. 11)
Nishiwaseda Campus
- Operation hours: 8:00-22:30
- Closed on weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19. However, the subway entrance and west entrance can be entered on weekends/holidays if you have a faculty/staff or student ID.
- Campus only accessible to faculty/staff during Aug. 11-21. (During this time, campus can only be entered through the main gate, but can be left through the main, subway, and west gate.)
- Campus open on Sep. 17 for graduation ceremonies
Tokorozawa Campus
- Operation hours: 8:00-22:00 (Entrance through security office gate)
- Campus only accessible to faculty/staff during weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19.
Honjo Campus
- Building 94 operation hours: 8:30-18:00
- Building 93 operation hours: 9:00-19:00
- Closed weekends, holidays, and Aug. 12-19

Kitakyushu Campus
- Operation hours: 8:00-22:00
- Closed weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19
- Campus can be accessed afterhours by those with permission from faculty, staff, and students in charge of research labs, as well as those who can provide identification
Nihombashi Campus
- Main office operation hours: Weekdays and Saturdays, 9:00-17:00 (accessible by elevator)
- Closed Sundays, public holidays, and Aug. 13-19
TWIns
- Operation hours: Weekdays 8:30-18:00
- Closed Sundays, public holidays, and 3rd Saturday of the month
- Entrance through the security/monitoring office entrance (24 hours)
- 3F main office is closed weekends, holidays, and Aug. 12-19
Higashifushimi Archives (STEP 22)
- Main office operation hours: 10:00-16:00 (closed 12:30-13:30)
- Closed weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 11-19
2．Opening hours for certificates/discount coupon issuing machines
Certificate and discount coupon issuing machines will be temporarily unavailable from Wednesday, August 10 to Monday, August 22 (12:00). Availability during the summer holidays will also change. Please refer to the website below:

- Study rooms for doctoral students in Building 19 will be open 9:00-20:00, but closed on weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19 during summer holidays.
- Study rooms for graduate students on level 3 and 4 in Building 27 will be open 9:00-19:30, but closed on weekends, public holidays, and Aug. 12-19 during summer holidays.
5．Classroom usage
In general, all classrooms will be closed during summer holidays.
