Circle rooms are located on the first basement floor and on the second to eleventh floors of the east wing of the Stduent Center, and are the base for the active activities of each official circles.
Circle rooms are to be used by each official circle, but are not provided for all official circles.
In addition, the eligibility to use the circle room is limited to the academic year in which the application is made. If the circle wish to continue to use the circle room for the next academic year, they must meet the conditions and complete the prescribed procedures within the period specified by the university each academic year.
If the circle does not meet the requirements or follow the procedures within the time period, the eligibility to use the club room will be revoked and they will have to vacate there by the date and time specified by the Student Affairs Section.
The circle can continue to use an exclusive circle room by applying for “official” qualification continuation every year. If an official circle is already using an exclusive circle room, it is not necessary to submit the application for Student Association establishment and the application for using of exclusive circle room.
However, the use of exclusive circle room will be restricted if they did not submit any of the <For Circle> Notification Form for Activities held Off-Campus (including camp/tour), Activity Report or Event Report in the previous academic year, and they will be changed from using exclusive circle room to the day-specified circle room (three days a week).
Common Interest Associations, Circles Affiliated with NPO’s, etc., and Faculty-Approved Organizations can use their exclusive circle room if they satisfy the following conditions and if the university approves of it.
They shall satisfy the following conditions and be upgraded to a Student Association.

※Regarding the submission method of “Application for Student Association establishment” and “Application for Exclusive circle room use”, etc. please check the “Becoming an official circle” page on Student Affairs Section website that is notified around the end of January every year.
When you upload the registration contents to MyWaseda, please put ALL circle members who use the circle room on specified Excel file. When you upload the file again, members who were registered before must also be registered AGAIN. If they are not registered on the new list, they won’t be able to get in and out of the room.
In principle, the member entry registration due date shall be the 20th of every month. Circle room use shall be possible starting on the 1st of the following month. However, if the 1st is a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday, they can use the circle room starting on the following weekday.In addition, please note that data reflection may be delayed due to the facility being closed, system situation, etc.

A day-specified circle room is a circle room which is used by different circles on different days of the week. Official circles that are not Student Associations can use the “Day-specified circle room” by fulfilling the conditions.
(1)Available Days
Depending on the following conditions, available days are different (Up to 3 days a week).
<3-day use>:The circle has applied for “official” qualification continuation at least 10 consecutive times.
<2-day use>:The circle has applied for “official” qualification continuation at least 5 consecutive times.
<1-day use>:The circle has applied for “official” qualification continuation at least 2 consecutive times.
※Regardless of the type, the circle must have submitted at least one of <For Circle>Notification Form for Activities held Off-Campus (including camp/tour), Activity Report, or Event Report in the previous academic year when the circle hopes to use a day-specified circle room.
(2)Application method
Applications for day-specified circle room in academic 2022 will be accepted at the office of the Student Affairs Section on the assumption that the circle will continue “official” qualification in academic 2022. 1 year (July to the end of June of the following year)
Each room has a CATV terminal. By connecting a monitor with built-in tuner, TV, or BD deck etc., circles can receive on-campus CATV broadcasting. In addition to terrestrial digital broadcasting, some BS channels, CNN and BCC can be viewed on the campus CATV.
There are modular jacks in each circle room, and direct telephone lines are available. As a rule, the name of the telephone line should be the chair of each circle.
