Q.留学を通じて得た成果を教えてください

"留学中は実感があまり持てなかったが、振り返ってみると語学力、特に、リスニング力は向上したと思う。また、授業や日常生活を通して、カナダの歴史や文化についてなども学ぶことができ、大きな収穫だったと思う。始めは初めての海外生活に不安を抱いていたが、周りの方のサポートもあり、無事に終えることができ、自分に自信を持つ事ができ精神的余裕も生まれたと感じる。

一番興味深かった授業は？ / Most interesting class

Introduction to Women and Gender Studies

→　"授業のテーマに沿ったジェンダーについても学んだが、基本的な語彙や前提知識についてではなく、社会現象や政治と絡めた視点で語られていることが多かった。私は日本でもジェンダーについて学んだことがあったが、同じ入門の授業でもカナダとは扱う内容が大きく異なり、また、カナダでは学生の多くが自分の身近なこととしてで女性やLGBTQ+の生き方、権利について考えている姿が印象的だった。さらに、ジェンダーに関する授業ではありながら、カナダの先住民の問題や、法律に関することなど、現在進行形でカナダが抱えている社会問題についても知ることができた。

中期プログラム／出願上の注意ー Notes on Application to Semester Programs

留学が必修となっている国際教養学部の学生は、学部の許可をとった上で応募してください。
For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
その他、専門演習（ゼミ）の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。

Students on extension (encho-sei) who participate in semester programs are required to pay the full tuition and other academic fees set by their Schools instead of the reduced fees for students on extension.You should confirm details with your School Offices.
