ブレーメン経済工科大学は1799年に設立された航海学校が前身の大学。創立以来、実用・実践にフォーカスした研究・教育を継承しており、産業界が求める人材の育成にも貢献している。長年の国際化推進により、64のプログラムのうち50以上が英語でのプログラムとなっており、小規模な大学ならではの、留学生への手厚いサポートも強みである。

Summer semester runs from 1 April to 30 September every year. Winter semester runs from 1 October to 31 March of the following year. The 14-week lecture period is followed by a 2-week exam period. Students might be able to take courses from other Schools. Yet, this will be on a case-to-case basis and depends on the available spots in the respective course and the specific (language) requirements set forth by the respective School.

Apartment house/ *Our accommodation service for exchange students can assist you with finding a place to live. The HSB accommodation database Into Rooms offers furnished rooms and is exclusively accessible for exchange students. All apartments in Into Rooms are checked by the International Office and are offered by trusted landlords. Shared apartments, single flats or rooms in a family home are available. The monthly rent ranges from 400 to 600 euros.

International students must be able to provide proof of enough financial funds for their student visa and/or resident permit application: 992 EUR per month (5,952 EUR per semester/11,904 EUR per year) Like degree-seeking students, exchange students need to pay a semester contribution which includes the "Deutschland-Ticket" for public transport and regional trains throughout Germany, social facilities and benefits. Holders of our student ID are entitled to budget-priced meals in the canteens, for instance. The fee is about 360 EUR per semester.

  • 留学が必修となっている国際教養学部の学生は、学部の許可をとった上で応募してください。
    For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
    Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
  • 通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、 科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
    その他、専門演習(ゼミ)の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、 所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
    If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
  • 延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。
    詳細は各学部・研究科にお問い合わせください。
    Students on extension (encho-sei) who participate in semester programs are required to pay the full tuition and other academic fees set by their Schools instead of the reduced fees for students on extension.You should confirm details with your School Offices.
