The large majority of DDP students' courses will be in their host faculties. Courses outside of the host faculty and NUS College are subject to the desired department's discretion and availability. Students wishing to major in Economics should note that: 1)Economics in NUS is very quantitative in nature. It is also a rather progressive major where students need to progress in stages. 2)Students should aim to transfer all 12 Units of Waseda courses to their intended NUS major. 3)If students map less than 12 units of Economics foundational courses from Waseda, they will need to overload extensively (their regular curriculum is already an overload) when they come to NUS.
