3月13日（水）から3日間にわたり、国際日本学拠点ではUCLAとの共同プロジェクトである「柳井イニシアティブ」のプログラムの一つとして、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA）にて国際シンポジウム“The Women in the Story: Female Protagonists in Japanese Narratives”「物語の中の女性――日本のナラティブにおける女性主人公とは」と題して開催します。本シンポジウムにさきがけて、“Gender and Ethnicity in Japanese Academia” をテーマに院生によるラウンドテーブルが設けられます。
