Global Japanese StudiesWaseda University

This program allows full-time doctoral program students enrolled at the Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences to study abroad at Columbia University while retaining their affiliation with Waseda University. If the requirements specified by the program are met, program participants will be able to earn master’s degrees from Columbia University’s Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures in addition to their degrees from Waseda University. This reciprocal program also permits graduate students affiliated with Columbia University to study abroad at Waseda University and earn master’s degrees from the Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
