Why don’t you rediscover the fun of science in the afternoon?
Dr. Kosei Ishimura of the Faculty of Creative Science and Engineering will be speaking on the theme of “A Space Engineer Speaks on ‘Words’“. The professor, who has been involved in the structural development of satellites at JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) for 10 years, will talk about “language,” which plays an important role in actual space development, from various perspectives. From the recent topic of space development, to the misunderstanding of “words” we use in our daily life, to the “letter disaster” by Atsushi Nakajima who is one of the famous Japanese writers…? He will talk about space engineering and “language” in every direction. Please feel free to drop by and take a break between classes or work, just like at a café.
*This talk event will be conducted in Japanese.
