New gates will be newly installed at the entrance.
Previously, patrons were required to present their student ID, faculty/staff ID, or library card to a library staff at the entrance to the Research Collections. From March 27th, 2025 on, new gates will be installed for a smoother entry. Patrons can enter the library by scanning a library ID card.
Please refer to [Central Library] Using the Research Collections (No.9) for details.
-
“Key box” for Private Reading Rooms will be installed.
In exchange for a key to the private reading rooms, patrons have been asked to present and deposit their student ID or faculty/staff ID, or library card. From March 27th on, a “key box” for self pickups has been implemented. From now on, qualified patrons can check out and return the key themselves with the scan of a library card.
Please refer to [Central Library] Private Reading Rooms (No.10) for details.
If you have any questions, please ask the staff at the Research Collections desk.
