Ask a Librarian!【In Japanese / English】

Would you like to consult with a librarian or learning assistant(LA) about how to find materials or questions about library services? Please feel free to apply! *Free of charge. *Reservation is required.

• Program overview：
  – You can consult with a librarian or learning assistant(LA) on how to find materials, ask questions about library services, and more. This program is ideal for those who are not sure how to use the library.
  – You can also join us with your friends. *One representative should apply.
  – Language : Japanese or English
• How to Consult：
  In-person (Central Library) or Online (Zoom)
• Consultation Time：
  About 30 minutes per session
• Dates and Times：
  January 10 (Wed.) – January 31 (Wed.), 2024
  Monday-Friday: 10:00-17:00 (Start before 16:30)
  *Please indicate at least 3 desired dates and times when you apply.

Students and faculty of Waseda University　*Waseda ID holders

Applicattion  & Notes

• Please click here to apply in advance.
• Please apply at least 2 days in advance, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. 
• If more than one person is participating, one representative must apply.
• Please be sure to confirm the details of the consultation date & time, location and so on, which will be sent to you by e-mail at least one day before your participation date.
• If you wish to participate in a Zoom live-streaming workshop, you will need to install the Zoom application in advance. We recommend that you prepare a separate device (smartphone or PC) for screen sharing and a PC for searching together.

To those who require accommodation
Attendees who desire accommodations (PC speech-to-text interpretation; sign-language interpretation; guidance at venue; securing of seats), including those bringing children, should inform us at least 10 days before the date of the event. Upon consultation, we will accommodate your request to the greatest extent possible.
