Science and Engineering Students’ Reading Room Service Resumes (2023/03/15-)

The Science and Engineering Students’ Reading Room began providing services at its temporary location on the 1st floor of Wing-N, Building No. 55 from 9:00 a.m. on March 15, 2023 (Wednesday). We apologize for any inconvenience or inconvenience caused during the relocation process. This relocation is due to the construction work for the improvement of school buildings on Nishi-Waseda Campus, and the reading room will be open at the temporary location for the time being. Please be aware of the following points at the temporarily relocated location.

(1) About reading seats

Due to space limitations at the temporary relocation site, there are no reading seats in the reading room. There are some benches to sit on between the shelves, but if you wish to study using library materials or materials you brought in, please use the reading seats and Learning Commons in the Science and Engineering Library (Building No. 51, B1 and B2 floors) or the Learning Commons area in the Nishi-Waseda Campus.

(2) Reference books and periodicals in the Student Reading Room

As already announced, journals, reference books, JIS handbooks, etc. in the Student Reading Room have been moved to the Science and Engineering Library. If you do not know where it is, please contact the library staff.

(3) About WINE terminals and copy machine

There are fewer WINE terminals and copy machines than there were in Building 52 before the relocation. For searching the library collection, please use your own devices whenever possible. For photocopying, please consider using other machines on campus.

 
There are also benches between the stacks.  Two WINE terminals are installed.
